Description
This is a story about the relationship between a little girl, Ruby, and her grandmother. It introduces Ruby to fairies, a fairy garden, and the magic they can hold. With the help of her grandmother, Ruby learns creativity, imagination, and patience. She eventually believes she has achieved her dream of communicating with her new mystical fairy friends. It is only when she is much older, that she learns of her grandmother’s very big part of her wonderful childhood memories. Sharon Chuzles is a retired program associate from the Dept. of Communicating Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Upon retiring, she and her husband, Eugene returned to their hometown of Green Bay, WI. They have a blended family of five children and have 10 grandchildren, ranging in age from 5 to 22 years. Sharon has always lived in the world of arts and crafts. She has spent countless hours creating comforters for her family and friends, as well as mastering the art of counted cross stitch. Writing children’s stories is a new adventure for her and she hopes to to continue this journey in the future
