Description
J.B. McMath Sr. was a spirited young boy in the early 1900’s when his family escaped the Galveston hurricane by moving to Dallas, Texas. He had many boyish adventures both in Dallas and Marlin, Texas where he grew up and later became a fireman in the days of the horse drawn fire wagons. He had his first real encounter with God when he was seventeen.
J.B. worked in the sign business and as providence would have it, he bought his own sign company in the early 1930’s and was commissioned to build the famous Flying Red Horse icon on top of the Magnolia building in downtown Dallas. Along this journey he had many spiritual dreams and encounters with Jesus Christ which are chronicled in this book along with the historical aspects of the neon sign business. J.B. is a masterful, witty storyteller that will keep you enthralled with what a relationship with God can be like.
