FIX IT IN THE MIX is the memoir of Paul Hornsby, acclaimed record producer and musician best known for his work at Capricorn Records in Macon, Georgia during the 1970’s. Co-written with Hornsby, the book expounds upon his life growing up in Alabama, his early forays into music and joining Gregg and Duane Allman as a member of the Hour Glass. He later met Phil Walden and was hired as a producer at Capricorn Studios, producing and engineering the Marshall Tucker Band, the Charlie Daniels band and others. He continued producing after the closing of Capricorn, opening his Muscadine Studios where he still works today. The book is illustrated with never before seen photographs from Hornsby’s private collection.
