Description
This book details the loss of my son, Robert Barry Roberson. It begins with the day we got the news and the reaction of the family. It continues with details of the funeral and the effect those few days had on his wife, daughters, me (mother) and his two sisters, as well as his dad. After the initial shock and the funeral, the book continues with a discussion of his upbringing, high school and college days, and the many times our Lord intervened to spare him in his younger days. It details his struggles, being from a broken home. It further details how God brought people and events into his life and through many miracles, molded him into the great servant of God he became. This book explains each step of my journey down a long trail of grief. Many times, through scripture, and thoughts placed on my heart, God brought comfort and a degree of understanding of how He perhaps perceives events. For example, God brought to mind that at least 10 people accepted Christ at his funeral. Had he not taken Barry, they might have spent eternity in hell.
